Estiva at Luminosity 2 years anniversary

For the past two years Luminosity has been delivering unforgettable trance parties. On Friday the 11th of December Luminosity will celebrate it’s second anniversary at the Escape Delux & Studio in Amsterdam. With the brilliant success of the previous beach edition still fresh in the memory, no effort is being spared in ensuring that the upcoming anniversary special will be even better.

Luminosity premièred on 17 November 2007 in the Poema in Utrecht, and is now heading towards its eleventh edition, having become a pure trance gathering in the world. The strong international character of trance has been very much in evidence at the more recent editions, including at last beach event, when a large proportion of the visitors came from other countries.

The party will mark the second anniversary of Luminosity and there will be a cast list to match from the world of national and international trance, appearing alongside a balanced mix of new heroes and the biggest artists of the time.

New website online

As of today a brand new website has come available for everyone who would like to follow updates on everything about Estiva, Estiva releases and remixes. Some of you might remember the old website, you will probably see the major changes in an instance. For those who didn’t, let me explain what we have done to make this website more focused on the optimal user experience. But first of all let me thank my brother Floris Baan and his communications and webdesign company Speaking Visuals for making me this hot new website!

News
The biggest change we made is the way news is represented on the frontpage. Three big banners slide in and out to show you the so-called Special News items. Click on the banner to read news posts about everything I think is really important. Besides the large banner slider there are also three text news blocks. Here you will find charts, information on gigs and other with more common updates. Below these blocks there is a nice feature that shows you the latest tweets. You might also want to visit my Twitter page once in a while and follow my Twitter updates. In the news section of the website you can find the news archives.

On the charts section of this website you can find all about my personal favorite tracks of a particular month. I’ll try to add a new chart to this website every month!

Guestbook
The guestbook can be found on the contact section of this website. Please let me know what you think about me, my music and these brand new website. I’ll try to answer all your questions as soon as possible.

ASOT end of year voting 2009

Only a few weeks to go before a new and promising year of music kicks off. In the weeks around Christmas, everyone reflects to what has been a great and inspiring year for trance. 2009 was full of surprises. New collabs, fusions and talent were all part of this trancy period in time.

And like every year’s end, it’s time to vote for your personal favourites of the A State of Trance radioshow. The results of this voting poll will determine the final ASOT Top 20 and tracklisting of the ASOT 2009 Yearmix. The Top 20 and Yearmix will be broadcast December 24th.

November update

It’s been a while since I’ve updated my website but this gives me the opportunity to bring you a lot of exciting new things! My latest EP called ‘I Feel Fine’ has been out for a while now so if you haven’t checked it out yet you might want to do that right now. Also I mixed a compilation: Enhanced Sessions Volume 1.

During the last couple of months I’ve been working on loads of new stuff and remixes. I did an interesting collaboration with my friend from Enhanced Recordings; the one and only Temple One! The track is called November Lovely and it’s getting its release late November/early December.

Dj-wise everything is going great as well. I had the greatest time in Poland and Germany, where I played for Alex M.O.R.P.H. & Woody van Eyden’s HeavensGate! Next up is the 2 Years Anniversary of Luminosity-Events at December 11th in Amsterdam (Escape). See you there!!
