Enhanced Day on Afterhours.fm

Tuesday, April 27th, 2010

Enhanced was founded in 2005 as a sublabel to a UK labelgroup by UK DJ and producer Will Holland, Enhanced was established to release the best in Trance and Progressive. Having been taken independent by Will some 24 months ago, the “The label that never fails” (Mixmag) has seen a meteoric rise and now stands as one of the leading stables today, bursting with talented producers and with a top quality output.

“Scaling the sheer rock face that is the trance label rankings is the hardest challenge facing the boss of any imprint. It’s a less-than-comfortable fact of EDM life that, in terms of all-round clout & standing, typically where a label starts, is where it stays.

Over the course of the last two years Enhanced have successively and successfully been bucking that trend. The secret of their success? Well, loading your roster with new artists who have real, genuine studio-skills is an asset to be prized above most others. Temple One, Estiva, Solarity, Arty, Ferry Tayle – all unheard of names 18 months ago, each one now a genuine breakout threat for 2010. One could be considered lucky. Five? Well that’s just stellar A&Ring.” – Trance International

“The label story of 2009”  – DJ Mag, has continued its assault on the trance scene in 2010 with a succession of huge records , along with the release of the critically acclaimed third instalment of Digitally Enhanced Volume Three. With some colossal releases waiting around the corner, new compilations and artist albums from the likes of Tritonal, Ferry Tayle and more, as well as a state of the art new website, don’t be surprised if the  Label Of The Year’s (MusiCritics) story continues for a further 12 months and beyond.

“The future of trance is in safe hands” say the world’s biggest dance music magazine Mixmag, and Afterhours FM will be broadcasting 22 hours of nonstop music to show you why, as a selection of Enhanced’s talented roster guide you through Thursday 29th April and into the early hours Friday 30th April with a supersonic assault on your senses.

Celebrating 5 years in the business, this is the first of a succession of memorable events for 2010 for “The hottest label around’ (Trance.nu) so keep an eye on http://www.enhancedrecordings.com to see them unfold over the coming months.
