Estiva – The Kingdom/Rockerduck

Enhanced star Estiva has had a rocking 2010 with gigs across Europe, his last EP ‘Friends & Enemies’ being supported by every major DJ going, winning ‘The Money Shot’ in DJ Mag, and Judge Jules’ coveted ‘Tried & Tested’, and not to mention his stand out remixes for Max Graham’s collab with Neev Kennedy and Temple One’s Autumn Leaves.

Never one to rest on his laurels, the on fire Dutchie is back with yet another, quite simply huge release.

The Kingdom carries on where Friends & Enemies left off; massive synths and pounding drums will make this a sure-fire club banger, and the Tech Mix will no doubt send dancefloors into further delirium.

Rockerduck see’s Estiva bring out his tech influences once again and the result is breathtaking once again.

‘Sun In The Winter’ Release

It’s already destined to be one of the hottest releases this year: Max Grahams “Sun in the Winter” with the absolutely brilliant vocals of Neev Kennedy. The release features the original and two stunning remixes by Alex M.O.R.P.H. and Estiva. All three mixes have been heavily supported by the biggest dj’s out there with airtime on A State Of Trance, Global DJ Broadcast and Trance Around the World. ‘Sun in the Winter’ is being released by the Coldharbour Recordings label and is in all stores from the 8th of March.

Friends & Enemies EP OUT NOW!

Estiva’s latest Friends & Enemies EP is exclusively out on Beatport.com. The package contains ‘Friends & Enemies’, ‘Dalmatia’ and ‘Privilege’ and is pretty much the most promising release by Estiva ever. All of the three tracks were picked up by worlds elite: Tiesto, Armin van Buuren, Above & Beyond and Markus Schulz, to name just a few.

Friends & Enemies EP Release

Enhanced favourite Estiva had a fantastic 2009 with releases like I Feel Fine, his debut compilation Enhanced Sessions and remixes for the likes of Couldharbour and gigs all around Europe.

With his collaboration with Temple One ‘November Lovely’ still causing serious damage in the sets of the worlds elite, he shows no sign of holding up with yet another of his outstanding three track EP’s.

Genuinely, we don’t think you will find an artist who delivers such diverse and quality three trackers as this young Dutchman; Stella EP, Strawberry Fields EP, I Feel Fine EP; all have been absolutely outstanding.

Estiva now delivers something slightly different from his normal sound, but still packed with the unmistakable Estiva melodies.

The rock influenced Friends & Enemies leads the EP, with its huge synths and heavy percussion, and when the top line enters on the 4 minute mark, it’s just perfect. The huge main room Privilege is something that without doubt would take the roof off the Ibizan superclub, whilst Dalmatia again hits you with one of the biggest leads we’ve heard in a while.

November Lovely Release

Estiva & Temple One kick off the new decade in truly emphatic style with this massive collaboration from the two Enhanced stars. Featured for the first time on Enhanced Sessions Vol. 1, mixed by the duo, the package now includes stunning mixes from both Temple One and Estiva.

The Estiva Mix showcases his fantastic talent in a style reminiscent to his stand out single ‘I Feel Fine’ from 2009. Temple One delivers a brilliantly blistering peak time mix; probably his best work to date. Also included is the wonderfully groovy Estiva’s Enhanced Sessions Mix, as featured on the CD.

We’re heavily tipping these two for a huge 2010, as are many of the trance fraternity, and this release surely outlines why they’re two names on everybody’s lips.

Here’s a little note from me. I’m really happy to have worked together with such a talented guy as Joe Garret (Temple One). Initially the Estiva Enhanced Sessions Mix was the only mix I did for this release. But later on I really felt the need to give this one a different approach which is now named as Estiva Mix. And last but not least I think Joe did a fantastic job with his uplifting mix. Pick you favourite and let me hear your thoughts!
